So, a little guitar melody arrived in my brain late one night. It was quickly followed by a little vocal idea with fragments of lyrics. A chorus idea appeared as well with a pretty solid structure. The first lyric that came was “I know the secret”. I really didn’t analyze what it meant. I just tried to let it come as opposed to reaching for the next lyric. The recording went much of the same way. I was treating it like a “demo” so there was no pressure (at least that’s what I was telling myself! ha!).
This was a lot of fun to make and I hope it makes you smile.
